Welcome to Green Wood Bushcraft. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the booking of our bushcraft courses and services. By accessing our website or booking a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Course Bookings

All course bookings are subject to availability

Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment

Prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice

Once confirmed, bookings are non-transferable without our prior written consent
3.2 Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed

We accept payment methods as displayed on our website

All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable
3.3 Group Bookings

Special terms may apply to bespoke group courses and private bookings

Custom quotes will be provided upon request

Group booking terms will be agreed in writing before confirmation
4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1 Cancellations by You

More than 30 days before course date: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee

14-30 days before course date: 50% refund

Less than 14 days before course date: No refund

4.2 Cancellations by Us

We reserve the right to cancel courses due to insufficient bookings, instructor illness, extreme weather, or other circumstances beyond our control

If we cancel a course, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another available date

We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur (e.g., travel, accommodation)
4.3 Rescheduling

You may request to reschedule your booking to an alternative date subject to availability

Rescheduling requests made more than 14 days before the course date will be accommodated free of charge (one time only)

Rescheduling requests made less than 14 days before the course date may incur a £25 administrative fee
5. Course Participation
5.1 Age Requirements

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times

The accompanying adult is responsible for the supervision and safety of minors
5.2 Health and Fitness

Participants must be in reasonable physical health to participate in outdoor activities
-
You must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or disabilities that may affect your participation
-
We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe it poses a risk to you or others
5.3 Participant Conduct

Participants must follow all instructions given by our instructors

We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is dangerous, disruptive, or inappropriate

No refund will be given if you are removed from a course due to misconduct
5.4 Alcohol and Drugs

Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances

Consumption of alcohol during courses is strictly prohibited

Smoking is only permitted in designated areas
6. Safety and Liability
6.1 Inherent Risks

Bushcraft and outdoor activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to: cuts, burns, trips, falls, allergic reactions, and exposure to elements

By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks
6.2 Insurance

We maintain public liability insurance

We strongly recommend that participants obtain personal accident and travel insurance
6.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from your participation in our courses, except where caused by our negligence

We are not liable for loss or damage to personal property

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the course fee paid
6.4 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your participation or breach of these Terms
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Website Content

All content on our website including text, images, logos, and course materials is owned by us or our licensors

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission
7.2 Photography and Media

We may take photographs and videos during courses for promotional purposes

By participating, you consent to being photographed and for these images to be used in our marketing materials

If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us in writing before the course
8. What to Bring
8.1 Participant Responsibilities

Participants must bring appropriate clothing and footwear as specified in pre-course communications

We are not responsible if you arrive unprepared or without required items

A detailed kit list will be provided upon booking confirmation
8.2 Equipment

All bushcraft equipment and tools will be provided unless otherwise stated

Participants are responsible for any damage to equipment caused by misuse or negligence
9. Weather and Course Conditions

Courses run in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by the instructor

Appropriate clothing for wet and cold conditions is essential

We reserve the right to modify course activities based on weather and ground conditions
10. Data Protection and Privacy
