Meet Bill,
The Founder.

The decision to start my own company was a long time coming. As an instructor I felt that many organisations missed the mark when it came to the spirit of bushcraft.

 

As a result, I decided to create Green Wood Bushcraft. 

This project is born out of a life-long dedication to outdoor living skills. I have poured all my experience into developing courses that are both accessible and empowering, fun, yet challenging. I incorporate everything I love about the outdoor industry whilst rejecting a fast paced, insincere approach.

Bushcraft is an expansive and empowering subject. I have seen people burst into tears of joy after achieving their first ember using a bow drill. This joy is what I aim to incorporate in every course I develop and session I run.

After teaching outdoor living skills for nearly a decade my passion for the subject has only grown. I have worked for forest schools, lead international expeditions and everything in between.
